Mega apologies for not keeping things up to date, I mean, life in the big smoke is hectic and unrelenting. If you are one of the 6.3 million people that are interested in me, my life, my well being, and general Skeptik mayhem, then read on. The experience will leave you satisfied, and ultimately enlightened.

Radio - The DustyCratesRadio show now enters into its 5th year of being, and with over 30,000 downloads over that time, and guests such as Pete Rock, Atmosphere, Percee P, J Rawls, Jehst and more, it goes from strength to strength. Music - I'm working on projects with a bunch of people. Instrumental goodness is coming. Incredible weird shit with Sir Smurf is coming. A project with Eslam Jawaad is coming. Keep them peeled - and til then peep "Dawn of the Darkness" on Kashmere's album to tide you over.

Writing - The world famous Under The Patio column on 3BarFire.com is now monthly - check it, and stay aware of the realness..

Dear fans, haters and associated press,

Firstly, many apologies for the lack of updating of this here website. A lot has happened between then and now. Secondly, how are you? I mean, I’m sure you’ve been following what I’ve been up to. But how about you? Have things been good?

Thirdly, I’d like to say general biggups a) to anyone who bought “Broken Window” by Verb T and The Last Skeptik out now on Silent Soundz Record b) to anyone who has been coming to the shows and c) to TV execs who keep putting beautiful blondes on my TV screen like Kristen Bell and Hayden Panettiere.

If you’ve been reading and enjoying my fortnightly rants in the form of the Under The Patio e-column on 3BarFire.com, firstly, thank you, and secondly, spread the word. Thirdly, watch for future writing contributions of mine to a) Total Spec Magazine, b) Empire magazine, c) HipHopConnection Magazine and d) The Beano. One of those is a lie.

Here is a list of current projects I’m working on, in no particular order of importance, except that the less important ones I’ll probably put at the bottom (like my album with you, Kashmere.)

1. “Escape From Badger Mountain” – a largely instrumental concept album, vocalising and beats-al-ising the history of badger on homosapien crime. Featuring appearances from Jehst, Beardyman, Stig, Syntax, Asaviour, Saturday Night In Frankfurt, Noel Edmonds and many more.
2. “The Long Dark Tea-Time of The Soul” – fully instrumental album
3. Tracks with L Dot Man, Jehst, Sir Smurf, Stig, Skrein, Shameless, Skandal, Verb T, Asaviour, Mudmowth, Koaste and many many more.
4. a project with Conflix
5. an untitled horrifically traumatic and disgusting project with Kashmere.


A lot of people have been asking me about the return of the Dusty Crates Show… Well, I’m shopping it around now, so hopefully it will be coming back soon. To date its had over 20,000 downloads and counting. Now leave me alone, this is private property.

That’s it for now, hopefully I’ll be updating more and putting some free mp3s up here. Until then, Merry xmas, blah blah… keep that screwface on, and remember that just cus I talk about badgers and write better than your English teacher, it doesn’t mean I won’t bludgeon you with a toaster when you are sleeping.

Right now things are slow, im doing a degree, so musics on the back burner, BUT... look for collaborations soon with Smurf and Kaspa, a project with Conflix, more with Verb T, and some ish with Pseudo Slang (Fat Beats).

Summer 2006...

Whattupppppp...

Big news… I just produced a track for MF Grimm’s forthcoming album ‘American Hunger’ which will be out on Day By Day Entertainment in the next couple of the months. The track, “Give” will also be put out as the first single on a 12” on Uncle Howie records. The song is on some 115bpm surf-rock-neo-post-hiphop-funk-ballet-fondue shit so make sure you check it out when it drops. Watch for more music from myself and MF Grimm real soon. The album also features Large Professor, Kurious, Poison Pen and others…

Biggup to Edo G and Special Teamz, watch out for some collaborations between me and them in the near future too…

Just finished two tracks from my boy Salim’s album. He’s a sick emcee from Baltimore, and a track I produced called ‘Stresses Of The City’ will be the first single to drop from that, as well as appearing on a forthcoming compilation album by some legends of the chilled/funk/broken beat/lounge world who for now will remain nameless…

Starting September, I’ll probably be starting the legendary Dusty Crates Show up again (now entering its 4th year running!!!). Biggup to Sparks for keeping it going while I’ve been getting busy the other side of the Atlantic. Keep checking here for the info. It may happen, it may not.

January 2006...

It's new. It's a year. It's a new year...

Release wise, this year is gonna be crazy. My album should be out by the time the year is through, and with another 12" on the way, with myself, featuring Verb T, Manage and Conflix, as well guest production on albums and mixtapes from Conflix, Conspicuous and Sir Smurf Lil', Kashmere the Iguana Man, Manage, Salim (sick emcee from Baltimore), and Head Roc.
